Summer Reading Program Start June 1

Summer Reading for kids and teens is starting which means prizes for reading.  The special events for children will start on June 18th and end on July 31st!  There will be no events on July 2nd and 3rd, so people can enjoy the Fourth of July holiday without missing any events at the Library. 

Visual Catalog is Down

The Visual Catalog will be updated with a brand new and improved interface over Memorial Day weekend.  Therefore, it will be down Thursday, May 23—Friday, May 24 but the Classic Catalog will be available all weekend at http://carlweb.snap.lib.ca.u

Technology Unplugging

Do you want to unplug but don't know where to start? Start with establishing a Walden Zone in your house.  No tech in that part of the house.

To search for those who are safe and well through the Red Cross.  People have been asked to register with the Red Cross that they are safe and well.

Books for Book Clubs

 

Sets Available

Borrow a set of books for your book club to use.   Each title provides the number of books available in the set and a summary of the story.  One person checks out the set for their group and has 60 days to use and return.
