Martin Luther King Day

The Library will be closed on Monday, January 18th for Martin Luther King Day.  We will resume our regular hours on Tuesday, January 19th at 10 a.m.

Did you know that the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) publishes an annual Fuel Economy Guide?  If you are thinking of a new vehicle in 2010, then take time to research the most fuel-efficient vehicle that will meet your driving needs.  Updated fuel economy data is provided for new and used passenger vehicles back to 1984, with side-by-side vehicle comparisons and even fuel-saving tips.

January H1N1 Walk In Clinics: Vallejo & Fairfield

Sunday FREE H1N1 shot walk-in clinics scheduled:

January 31st

at 250 Georgia Street, Vallejo from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. 

and at 2948 Rockville Road, Fairfield (at the Guru Nanak Sikh Temple) from 1 to 4 p.m.

The clinics are open to the general public but children age 9 and under who need the second H1N1 booster are strongly encouraged to attend as well as those in a high risk group. Both nasal flu mist vaccine and shots will be given as along as long as supplies are available.

Holiday Hours

The Library will close at 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 24th, Christmas Eve and will be closed Christmas Day, Friday, December 25th.  We will reopen at noon on Saturday, December 26th.

We will also close at 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 31st and be closed on Friday, January 1st, New Years Day.  We will resume our regular hours at noon on Saturday, January 2nd.
