Granizo Art Tiles

If you enjoy the Granzio tiles on First Street you won't want to miss Saturday, September 13's display in the Doña Benicia Room from 3 - 5 pm.

In conjunction with September's Art Walk the Library will highlight thirteen Granizo tiles from the Benicia Historical Museum's collection.

Guillermo Wagner Granizo is one of the world's premier ceramic-tile muralists.

After School Zone

Need a place to hang out after school? The After School Zone gives students a place to study, eat, talk to friends and even play video games!  For ages 8 - 19.

Monday through Thursday

3:15 - 5 p.m.

Doña Benicia Room

Building Club will be included in the After School Zone the first and third Thursday of each month:  August 21st; September 4th and 18th, October 2nd and 16th, November 6th and 20th, and December 4th and 18th.  Come in and play Legos!

The Library has recently added Ancestry.com to our database selections. AncestryAncestry Library Edition is located under the RESEARCH tab above, then in the Genealogy section.  The database includes records from the U.S.

White Elephant Sale

White Elephant SaleIn August, the Friends of the Library will host a three day book sale with one day dedicated to a White Elephant Sale.  If you have gently used items that you'd like to donate please contact Rose at 747-1455 or bring items boxed or bagged to the Library's Donation area.  Last day to donate is August 7.

It's HOT outside!

Stay Cool.  Stay Hydrated. and Stay Informed:  Great advice from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to use during this heat wave.

Don't forget the Library is a place to cool down if you want some relief from the heat.  Take advantage of our air conditioning any time the Library is open:  Monday - Thursday from 10 am to 9 pm and Friday - Sunday from noon to 6 pm.
