Fuel Economy Guide

Did you know that the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) publishes an annual Fuel Economy Guide? 

The 2012 guide is now available with updated fuel economy data for new and used passenger vehicles including new model year cars, sport utility vehicles, and light trucks. Information on the recently redesigned fuel economy label now appearing on 2013 vehicles is also available.

Vehicle-specific air pollution emissions information, safety ratings, and links to car buying sites are highlighted to help make informed automotive purchase decisions.  Fuel economy data for new and used passenger vehicles is included to 1984, with side-by-side vehicle comparisons, and fuel-saving tips.
