So what have we done this year to merit celebration?

Population of Benicia  27,977

Library Card Holders   19,712

Do you have a library card so you can borrow books, magazines, DVDs, music CDs, Books on CD? Free!

 

We own 96,920 books and magazines, 9, 994 eBooks, 5,397 Music CDs and Books on CD, 5,887 DVDs and Videos.

Did you know you can borrow them free?

 

We were open 3,224 hours last year and 240,813 people came to the library.  We answered 36,216 reference questions.

Can't find it on the web, don't want to find it on the web, we are here to help find what you are looking for.

 

We circulated 371,581 items and loaned 43,984 to patrons outside of Napa and Solano County.  We borrowed 62,814 items for our patrons from other libraries outside of Solano and Napa Counties.  If you can't find it in our catalog, we can find it for you.

 

We held 574 programs for children, teens, and adults and 20,058 people attended them.  Did you?  See the calendar for future events.

 

We have free internet access.  61,515 patrons used our internet to print out documents, research homework, find family, find jobs!  Free Wireless, too. And, if your printer goes down at home, you can send your job to us via the internet and it will be here waiting for you.
