Supersearch

Since we have installed the new version of Supersearch, 10,000 holds have been placed to bring books to our SNAP (Solano, Napa, and Partners) patrons from Marin and Sonoma Counties, and to send our SNAP items to patrons in Marin and Sonoma Counties!!!

What is Supersearch, you ask.  Supersearch is a program that allows you to place a hold on an item in Marin or Sonoma Counties when the SNAP system does not own it.   To use, click on the "Request Items" tab above, and then click the "Supersearch" button.  Search for the item you want following the prompts to place the hold.  The items usually come within two weeks.  You can also decide to create your own login and password if you want to be able to track your request on your own.  Creating a login is also handy when you make future requests as all your contact information will be filled in for you!
