Come in to watch two popular movies on the Library's big screen.  While we're not allowed to tell the names of the movies, the movie on Monday is all about Lego and the movie on Tuesday is the popular movie about Anna and Elsa. Popcorn will be served.

Time to Study for Your Driver's License?

In partnership with, the library can now provide online access to the California Driver Manuals for vehicle, motorcycle, and commercial driving, plus practice tests and FAQs on the process.   The new 'Read Aloud' toolbar (found in the footer of every page) includes tools that will allow users to hear selections read aloud, make them into MP3s, translate pages into other languages, magnify text, and mask sections of the screen for greater visibility.

Jack-O-Lantern Contest and Scary Stories

7:00 - 8:30 pm

Enter the Library's 18th annual Jack-o-Lantern Contest!  Bring your carved pumpkin to enter the contest, or just come to vote for your favorites. The contest is open to everyone, including teens and adults, so show off those carving skills.   While the judges choose the winners, listen to some scary stories, very scary ones told in the dark for brave children (8 and up), and less scary ones for younger children.
