Monday and Thursday mornings: Children under the age of four whose parents are enrolled as active learners in the Adult Literacy program or that attend Monday and Thursday morning ESL Classes are eligible for the childcare service. Free! Held at the Youth Activities Center.

Free classes are offered to adults with limited English conversational skills. Three levels of instruction are available: beginning, intermediate, and advanced. Subjects include grammar, conversation, reading, writing, survival skills and much more. Classes meet Monday and Thursday from 9:00 - 11:30 am at the library, during the school year. The After-School Zone happens Monday through Thursday, when school is in session, from 3:15 to 5:00 p.m. (except for the Tuesdays with After-School Events). The After-School Zone is a free place for kids age 8 - 19 to drop in. It’s a place to study, play video games, have a snack, and visit with friends.
