Special Kids' Events
Occasionally, we have special events for kids at the Library. We have several this fall, so watch this space for details!
We'll be starting a Building Club on September 13th! It's for ages 5-12. We're not allowed to publicize the type of building blocks we'll use (and which we'll provide - please don't bring your own!), but here's a little verse about the program:

Celebrate Halloween at the Library
with a Jack-o-Lantern contest and scary stories!
For all ages
Wednesday, October 27th
7:00: Jack-o-Lantern contest - bring a jack-o-lantern that you have carved at home and enter it in the contest! Vote on your favorites, too!
7:30: Enjoy scary stories (or not-very-scary stories, as you like) while the judges look at the jack-o-lanterns. There will be a craft that is easy for young children to do.
8:00: Contest winners are announced, and prizes are given!
Gift-making workshop!
ages 6-12
Tues., Dec. 13th, 3:30 - 4:45 p.m.
Make cards and gifts for the holiday season! Materials are provided, so just drop in!
This is becoming an annual tradition (it's the 3rd or 4th year we've done this), and it's a lot of fun!
