Families for Literacy

 Families For Literacy (FFL)

The Families for Literacy Program provides services to adult literacy program learners who have preschool children in the home. The goal of the program is to change low-level reading patterns by encouraging adults to read to their children regularly, beginning at a young age. The program is funded through a California State Library grant.

Weekly Library Storytimes

Weekly storytimes are a fun time for parents and children. Listen to stories told by our children's librarians, and enjoy the fun activities they have planned for you and your little ones! After storytimes, enrolled adult learners are invited to stop by the Literacy office to pick up your monthly FFL book.
