Request Items
You may request items from our catalog in the SNAP system.
- Find the item you would like and click on it to bring up the record.
- On the left side of the screen will be some buttons. If you are only ordering this item click on “Place hold” and follow the instructions for placing your hold.
- If you are ordering more than one item, click “Add this record to list”. Once you have completed your list, click into your list, and click on the place holds button.
- Click on the EXIT button at the top right hand corner. This keeps the system from locking up and not allowing you to place holds.
If you have any problems, Ask Us for help.
Click here if you don't have a library card.
If you cannot find it in the SNAP Catalog --
Click on SuperSearch Button Below.
(SuperSearch is in the process of being rebuilt and transferred to a new Server and so it will be down until further notice), Please drop down to the Request an item button below and fill in your request. This form of Inter-Library Loan is not necessarily local and will take much longer to fulfill.
For items not found in the Our SNAP Catalog, you can search the SuperSearch catalog which includes Sonoma, Marin, and Mendocino County Libraries. SNAP belongs to a network of libraries in Northern California that agree to loan their materials to member libraries in the same way that SNAP member libraries loan materials.
If you cannot find it in the SuperSearch Catalog --
Click on Request Partner Button Below.
Request Partner allows you to request an item to be borrowed from another library outside of our systems or to request the library purchase a new item.
For items not found in the Our SNAP Catalog or SuperSearch catalog, you can order from home!
In Request Partner:

- Fill out the form.
If you want to track your request or you make a lot of requests, you can register and create your own account. When you log in the fields autofill your information.
